Museum and Pastificio guided tours
Picture of the interior of the house
In our company there is a little museum dedicated to pasta, created thanks to the love and passion of the founder, Giovanni Fabbri. From 1893 till his death, he used and collected all the machineries employed in the company at that time, that have been preserved and to which other unique objects related to the pasta making history of our family have been added later on. Today we have created an environment where Giovanni, current owner of the company and fourth generation of the family, tells the knowledge acquired during years of work, and where he explains and shows what gluten and starch actually are, and how latest generation wheat has been modified. He illustrates the itinerary of wheat as it was once: from land working to harvest with the fork, moulding and sale of the finished product, pasta!

All this is explained through a guided tour of our company which starts in the little museum and ends with a small present, so that visitors can also taste the passion for our job.
The museum is now an evocative meeting point for aficionados of the gastronomic culture. Our visitors are people who are fond of cooking, tourists who visit Chianti region, university students, pupils of the primary schools, journalists, teachers of cooking academies, who come visit us in order to learn little secrets of the art of pasta making, because we believe that knowledge and passion for good cooking are the best allied of a correct nutrition.
